Kishkindha Kand- Baali Vadh Searching for Sita, Rama an Lakshaman met Sugriva the the kng of Kishkindha. His brother Baali had taken control of his kingdom and captivated his wife. Rama agreed to help Sugirva get his kingdom and wife. The story goes that Baali had a boon that whoever fought with Baali facing him would lose half his Strength. Hence, it was strategized that Sugriva would invite Baali for a fight and Rama would kill him from behind. |
